Deprecated tags: pct=, rf=, ri=
pct= is the most visible change: RFC 9989 Appendix A.6 ("Removal of the 'pct' Tag") drops it as a defined DMARC tag. Its role — a reversible, staged way to apply a stricter policy to only part of your traffic — is replaced by the new t= (test mode) tag, which is binary (y/n) rather than a percentage: a record with t=y has its quarantine policy treated as none, giving an all-or-nothing reversible testing switch instead of a percentage dial.
rf= (report format) and ri= (report interval) — always rarely used, since afrf/daily were effectively the only values anyone published — simply don't appear in RFC 9989's current tag list at all.
None of this is urgent. A classic-era record with pct= still works exactly as published; nothing about mail delivery changes. This tool flags pct= presence as an informational note on the health check's DMARC row (never a fail or warning) and, if you'd like to modernize, offers a one-click "drop pct=" DNS fix that reconstructs your current record without it — everything else about the record stays untouched.
